Little Egg Harbor Yacht Club, July 29-August 1, 2026

USODA OPTIMIST ATLANTIC COAST CHAMPIONSHIP
Lavallette Yacht Club, September 12-13, 2026

Events of this caliber at local venues offer an extraordinary platform for young sailors to compete at the highest level, gain championship experience, and represent New Jersey on a national stage without extensive travel. We invite sailors, families, and coaches to take full advantage of these premier racing opportunities and make 2026 a landmark year for Optimist sailing in New Jersey.

To encourage participation from our local sailing community, NJYSF is pleased to announce the NEW JERSEY OPTIMIST TRIPLE CROWN 2026. NJYSF will award Triple Crown honors to top New Jersey sailors with the most cumulative points at the conclusion of these three events. Bona fide New Jersey residents and/or members of New Jersey yacht clubs are eligible. NOS coming soon!
